.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1206 AM CDT Mon Aug 25 2025
An upper level trough will dig southward through midweek. This
will send a cold front into the area today, reaching the northern
Gulf by Tuesday morning. This will bring some much drier air into
the region with precipitable water values below one inch. Another
front will move across the area late Tuesday into Wednesday,
bringing a surge of even drier air into the area. This will result
in much lower humidity levels and slightly cooler temps. Humidity
returns late in the week along with increasing rain chances.
Highs for today will top out in the low to mid 90s across the
area. After the front pushes through the area, highs will decrease
into the mid to upper 80s, to around 90. Lows by midweek will be
noticably cooler after the front passes. /13
