...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Significant coastal flooding during high tide cycles.
* WHERE...In Louisiana, Lower St. Bernard, Southeast St. Tammany
and Eastern Orleans Parishes. In Mississippi, Southern Hancock
County.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property
including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure
will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur. Water
could cover several roads in the Shoreline Park area around Bay
St. Louis at high tide.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth.
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. This
includes ground-level storage, which could be flooded in some of
the lowest lying coastal areas.

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding during high tide cycles.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern
Mississippi.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected. Flooding could encroach on
low sections of Hwy 1 between Port Fourchon and Grand Isle.
