At 637 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cottongin, or near Manchester, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Manchester, Brightshade, Lake, Cane Creek, Barnyard, Salt Gum, Goose
Rock, Erose, Bush, Cranes Nest, Girdler, Jonsee, Herron, Hooker, Ice
Cliff, Park Valley, Cottongin, Dewitt, Walker, and House.
THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 14 and 23.
U.S. Highway 25 East in Knox County between mile markers 3 and 5.
