This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Heat indices will once again rise into the upper 90's to near 100
degrees by the afternoon hours. The only relief will be from
isolated to scattered thunderstorms. The main hazards from this
activity will be heavy rain capable of localized flooding,
frequent lightning, and possibly gusty winds and small hail with
the strongest storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Additional chances of showers and storms are possible Tuesday.
Gusty winds, heavy rain, and lightning will be the primary hazards
should one occur.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
