...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN HOLMES COUNTY THROUGH
645 PM EDT...
At 611 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Farmerstown, or 8 miles southeast of Millersburg, moving north at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Berlin, Walnut Creek, Sugarcreek, Holmesville, Winesburg,
Farmerstown, Baltic, Mount Hope, and Charm.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
northeastern Ohio.
