  Mississippi River at Osceola

For the Lower Mississippi River...including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena...
Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 46.0 feet, In Mississippi, houses at Robson Towhead
  are being flooded. The settlement by Old River Chutes is going
  underwater. All locations on the northeast side of Desoto Lake are
  underwater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 45.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 46.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 44.0 feet.

  Fullen Dock area. Roads on the north side of the Loosahatchie
  River near its mouth are beginning to flood. Riverside Park Marina
  begins to flood.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 35.8 feet.

    early Friday morning and continue falling to 8.5 feet

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, Much of Bourbon Street is flooded. Grinner
  Drive is covered and the east end of Nel-Win Camp is going
  underwater. Lots along Tammy Road are being covered. Garden Lane
  is flooding and Carp Drive is being overtopped.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 37.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 37.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue falling to 10.9 feet

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Osceola.

* WHEN...Until late Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, In Tennessee, Highway 19 is flooding at
  Johnson Lake. Houses and farmsteads just west of the north end of
  T. Rossinger Road are beginning to flood. Oscar Griggs Road,
  Conner Road, and Long Hole Road are beginning to flood. Western
  sections of Grammer Road are beginning to flood, making evacuation
  from homesteads difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 34.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 34.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late Sunday evening and continue falling to 7.6 feet
    Wednesday, May 14.
