Survey Summary:
The National Weather Service surveyed a long-track EF-1 tornado
that moved from Midway through the north side of Fort Knox and
then ended just west of the Clermont exit on I-65. Numerous trees
were downed or snapped along the damage path, which ran a little over
30 miles and was on the ground a little over 30 minutes.
The most notable damage along the path was several properties affected
along D E Brown Rd; Otter Creek Park and YMCA Camp Piomingo; trees near
Range Rd at Fort Knox; and then a large barn destroyed west of Clermont.
The National Weather Service would like to thank the emergency
management of Meade, Hardin, and Bullitt Counties for their help in
locating the hardest hit areas.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:
EF0.....65 to 85 mph
EF1.....86 to 110 mph
EF2.....111 to 135 mph
EF3.....136 to 165 mph
EF4.....166 to 200 mph
EF5.....>200 mph
