...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following river in Indiana...
White River at Hazleton.
.Recent widespread rainfall of 1.5 to 2.5 inches has led to rapid
rises along southern Indiana rivers and streams. Flooding on the
White River at Hazleton is expected to begin Monday morning after
sunrise, and crest Tuesday at about 19 feet, three feet above minor
flood stage.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flood waters cover the Hazleton softball
field. Pottsville Road is underwater and impassable.

- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.1 feet early Tuesday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday,
February 23.
