...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky...
Green River at Calhoun affecting Webster and McLean Counties.
Green River at Paradise affecting Muhlenberg County.
.Heavy rain has caused the Green River to flood. The forecast crest
will cause major flooding at Calhoun and moderate flooding at
Paradise.
For the Green River...including Paradise, Calhoun...Major flooding
is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Green River at Calhoun.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Lower Calhoun begins flooding. A large
portion of Rumsey is flooded and evacuation of homes becomes
necessary.
At 32.0 feet, Major flooding occurs. State Road KY 81 becomes
blocked.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 PM CST Monday the stage was 29.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:00 PM CST Monday was 29.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 32.1 feet
Saturday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
