...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding along the Clarks River 
  caused by excessive rainfall is already occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following 
  counties, Calloway, Graves, Marshall and McCracken.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water 
  crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 935 AM CST, gauge reports indicated recent heavy rainfall
    has led to a record crest along the Clarks River. Flooding is
    already occurring in the warned area. Emergency management
    has reported water has impacted primary and secondary roads.
    Water has also impacted some businesses and homes.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Paducah, Murray, Mayfield, Metropolis, Benton, Calvert City,
    Reidland, Lone Oak, Sedalia, Lynnville, West Paducah, Barkley
    Regional Airport, Wingo, Hardin, Hazel, Kevil, Water Valley,
    Brewers, Symsonia and Kirksey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
