This will bring increasing moistureinto the regions ahead of an approaching frontal boundary. Thefront will move south across the area on Monday and into themarine area by Monday night. The highest rain chances will benorth of Highway 84 tonight into Monday morning with lowerchances south toward the coast. High temps today will be in the upper 50s and low 60s. Lows tonight will be in the low to mid 40s inland to near 50 along the coast. Highs on Monday will be in the mid/upper 50s inland to low to mid 60s along the coast. /13&&.LONG TERM...(Tuesday through Saturday) Issued at 405 AM CST Sun Jan 26 2025A predominantly zonal flow pattern aloft will continue across thelocal region through Thursday as longwave troughing digs into thenortheast US. This trough will gradually move into the western Atlantic by the end of the week. Additionally, a cutoff upper low over the southwest US will slowly move to the east through midweek. By time it reaches Texas/Oklahoma, it will quickly eject to the northeast, providing us with southwesterly flow aloft. We dry out through Tuesday night as shortwave ridging moves overhead and high pressure builds over Florida. Rain chances increase once again on Wednesday as another front attempts to move through the local area. After drying out once again on Thursday, rain chances ramp up again Friday into Saturday as the cutoff low ejects northeastward and another front approaches the area. Temperatures gradually warm through Wednesday, with highs reaching the low 70s and lows ranging from the mid 40s north to the mid 50s south. Temperatures decrease a bit for Thursday as the midweek front moves through, and they eventually rebound by Friday and Saturday. 96/13&&.MARINE...Issued at 405 AM CST Sun Jan 26 2025High pressure moves east of the area today resulting in light east to southeast flow. An approaching front Monday brings a small chance of showers. The front moves south of the marine waters by Tuesday and brings a brief period of light offshore flow in its wake.
