...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EST
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Eastern Preston and Western Tucker Counties.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning
commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As is often the case, snow accumulations and
potential for snow accumulating on roadways will be greatest at
the higher elevations.

THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5
inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...Eastern Tucker County.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
evening and Thursday morning commutes. Strong winds could cause
extensive damage to trees and power lines.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As is often the case, snow accumulations and
potential for snow accumulating on roadways will be greatest at
the higher elevations.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
