...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THURSDAY...
...LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels
  expected. For the Gale Warning, west winds 25 to 35 knots with
  gusts up to 40 knots and waves 5 to 8 feet expected.

* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from The Islands to
  Vermilion OH, and the open waters of Lake Erie from The
  Islands to Vermilion OH.

* WHEN...For the Low Water Advisory, until 4 PM EST Thursday.
  For the Gale Warning, from 7 PM this evening to 4 PM EST
  Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal
  water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As of 900 PM Wednesday, the water level at
  Toledo was 10 inches above low water datum. The critical mark
  for safe navigation is 2 inches below low water datum. Strong
  west winds will develop and cause water levels in the western
  basin to drop below the critical mark. Water levels will fall as
  low as 2 feet below low water datum on Thursday morning. Winds
  will decrease on Thursday afternoon and allow for water levels
  to return to normal.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.

Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due
to below normal water levels.

  knots with gusts up to 40 knots and waves 2 to 5 feet expected.

* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to
  The Islands OH.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Below
  normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating
  conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As of 900 PM Wednesday, the water level at
