This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Indiana and
southwest Michigan.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Scattered snow showers are expected to develop tonight, especially
downwind of Lake Michigan overnight with lake effect snow showers.
Some light snow accumulations of less than an inch are possible with
the lake effect snow showers, primarily across grassy areas.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
A period of snow is expected Thursday into Thursday evening. Slushy
snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected. Much of the snow
is expected to melt on roadways, but some slick spots on roads are
possible during the period of greatest snowfall rates late Thursday
morning into Thursday afternoon. The combination of snow and strong
west to southwest wind gusts to 35 mph may also create times of
limited visibilities on Thursday.
