.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1140 AM CST Sun Nov 10 2024

Main weather system this week will be a long wave trof over the
nation's mid section Wednesday evening. It will make steady
progression east and lose its identity to our east Thursday.
Rain showers should spread north and into the area Wednesday
afternoon, with chances moving north and east with time through
Thursday. Isolated thunder cannot be ruled out, but enough
guidance suggests that chance is limited. So no mention for now.

In the near term, we will continue with scattered showers over
mainly west KY toward the TN border through late today and early
this evening. A front will move south of the area tonight with
cooler temperatures to follow. Will monitor for fog. The center
of high pressure stays to our west, with weak NW flow later
tonight and Monday morning. Confidence is too low to mention it
just yet. Something to monitor given the clearing and cooler
temperatures (wet ground conditions).

Otherwise dry weather tonight through Tuesday night, then again
Friday into part of Saturday when high pressure will be in
control of our weather.

Some models indicate a chance of precipitation next weekend.
Confidence is rather low in the overall pattern evolution
beyond Friday.

.AVIATION /00Z TAFS THROUGH 00Z TUESDAY/...
Issued at 526 PM CST Sun Nov 10 2024

Skies will clear and winds will become calm tonight, but a drier
air mass moving in may keep fog formation limited to near
rivers. Winds increase to around 8 kts out of the northwest
Monday.
