.SYNOPSIS...
High pressure will continue to predominate with temperatures
above normal. A cold front will move through midweek with only a
minimal chance of rain.

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM THIS MORNING/...
A dry airmass will remain in place overnight with clear skies
and light winds. Some river valley fog will be possible again
late tonight. Lows will be in the upper 30s to mid 40s.

.SHORT TERM /6 AM THIS MORNING THROUGH 6 PM MONDAY/...
High pressure will persist. A bit of mid level moisture may
cross the Great Lakes Sunday night, but expect clear skies to
prevail through the period. Valley fog will dissipate early but
then likely redevelop late Sunday night. A slight warming trend
will continue.

.LONG TERM /MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY/...
This period will feature high pressure and dry air for the most
part, though a couple of weak systems will bring a low threat for
showers. Dry weather is very likely for Monday into Wednesday when
high pressure is forecast to track slowly from the Ohio Valley to
the East Coast. Model blend indicates that a cold front containing
limited moisture will provide a slight chance of showers Wednesday
evening mainly over northern locations. Following high pressure and
another dry interlude on Thursday, a weak disturbance could trigger
a few more showers Friday afternoon to Saturday morning.
Temperatures will be warm at the start, with highs reaching the mid
and upper 70s Monday through Wednesday in the return flow around the
first high. A retreat to the upper 50s to mid 60s may be observed on
Thursday in the northerly flow behind the cold front. Readings are
predicted to rebound to the upper 60s and low 70s by Saturday as
insolation and warm advection return behind the disturbance.

.AVIATION /06Z SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/...
Surface high pressure will offer clear skies and light winds.
These conditions will lead to some river valley fog later
tonight into Sunday morning. This will result in some MVFR to
possibly IFR vsbys at KLUK. Otherwise, VFR conditions will
prevail through the TAF period.
