.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 254 PM CDT Thu Oct 3 2024
Aloft the pattern is fairly weak and quasi-zonal until late
weekend. Sfc high pressure is just off to our east and allowing
for more southerly flow at the sfc. This will push our
temperatures to above average tomorrow through Sunday with highs
in the lower to mid 80s. Dew points will also trend higher and
into the 60s through this time period. Another sfc high pressure
moves through the Great Lakes Friday into Saturday and helps to
continue our southerly flow at the sfc. Aloft a trof comes
through the upper midwest on Sunday and pushes a cold front
through our area Sunday afternoon and night. This will bring a
nice cool down Monday and through next week. Temperatures will
come back down into the lower to mid 70s with dew points back
down into the 40s. So overall, the dry and sunny weather
continues through next week.
