* WHAT...High wave action, strong currents, and dangerous
swimming conditions expected. Piers will be heavily swamped by
waves.
* WHERE...Northern La Porte county.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water
and high waves can sweep people off piers.
* ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...There is a moderate swim risk for
Sunday. Breaking waves of 2 to 3 feet and currents are
expected.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
Do not venture out on piers.

* IMPACTS...Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water
and high waves can sweep people off piers.
* ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...There is a moderate swim risk after 2
pm ET today as high swim risk conditions subside. Breaking
waves and currents are expected, though current strength
should be weaker as waves continue to subside. There is a
moderate swim risk forecasted for Sunday.
