At 646 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Dixon to 7 miles northwest of Dixon
Springs. Movement was northwest at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Marion, Herrin, Harrisburg, Carterville, Eldorado, Johnston City,
Morganfield, Sturgis, Shawneetown, Breckinridge Center, Crainville,
Cambria, Energy, Goreville, Uniontown, Galatia, Ridgway, Dixon,
Equality, and Pittsburg.
**! This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 in 
Illinois between Mile Markers 1 and 10.
 Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 41 and 58.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
