...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN KNOX...SOUTHEASTERN
MCCREARY AND SOUTHEASTERN WHITLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Indian Creek to Emlyn to near Zion Hill.
Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Williamsburg, Barbourville, Julip, Artemus, Swan Lake, Zion Hill,
Clate, Birdseye, Barnyard, Red Ash, Verne, Gausdale, King, Louden,
Hollyhill, Polly Camp, Nevisdale, Bon, Dixie, and Avis.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 1 and
15.
 U.S. Highway 25 East in Knox County between mile markers 3 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
