Aging water infrastructure is stalling housing construction throughout Quebec
Most of Quebec's water and sewer infrastructure was built between 1950 and 1990, and now much of it is reaching the end of its lifespan. Treatment plants across the province are barely limping along, while sewer pipes are reaching their half-life limit.
