...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 
  possible.

* WHERE...All of southwest Indiana and portions of southern 
  Illinois, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water 
  crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Flash flooding from previous heavy rainfall continues over
    portions of southern Illinois. An additional 1 to 2 inches of
    rainfall will be possible with another round of showers and
    thunderstorms tonight. The additional rains could aggravate
    existing flooding and result in new flooding elsewhere across
    the region.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action 
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
