* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Southeastern Fayette County in central Ohio...
Highland County in south central Ohio...
Western Ross County in south central Ohio...
Southeastern Clinton County in southwestern Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 818 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Hillsboro, Greenfield, Lynchburg, Leesburg, New Vienna, Marshall,
Bainbridge, Highland Holiday, Rocky Fork Point, Russell, New
Market, Good Hope, Highland, South Salem, East Monroe, Samantha,
Rocky Fork Lake, Highland County Airport, Rainsboro and New
Martinsburg.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
