...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN NICHOLAS AND
NORTHEASTERN HARRISON COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...
At 531 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Brooksville, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ellisville, Headquarters, Claysville, Antioch, Barefoot, Blue Licks
Springs, US Route 62 at State Route 19, Morning Glory, Venus, and
Hooktown.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
