...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern
Hendricks, northwestern Marion and southeastern Boone Counties
through 445 PM EDT...
At 413 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Brownsburg, or 13 miles west of Indianapolis, moving northeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Brownsburg, Zionsville, and Pittsboro.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 126 and 135.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 62 and 69.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
