At 619 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Laplace to Killona to near
South Vacherie. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Kenner, Reserve, Avondale, Metairie, Hahnville, Laplace, Marrero,
Jefferson, Harahan, Westwego, Lockport, Mathews, Montz, Luling, River
Ridge, Boutte, Raceland, Ama, Destrehan, and St. Rose.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 201 and 230.
 Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 9.
 Interstate 310 between mile markers 1 and 11.
