PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...South Fork Licking River near I 70 near Buckeye Lake.
* WHEN...Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 883.0 feet, both eastbound and westbound lanes of
Interstate 70 are closed from flooding near Exit 129, with over a
foot of water likely on both eastbound and westbound lanes.
Significant flooding of the KOA campground occurs, as well as
Buckeye Lake Estates and other homes and businesses near the river
channel. Flooding will also impact portions of Interstate 70
between Exit 122 and Exit 126.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 881.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 883.5 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 880.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 882.9
feet on 03/21/2020.
