THROUGH 215 PM CDT...
At 149 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Town of Pines, or near Trail Creek, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Torrential rainfall and localized wind gusts to 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Michigan City, La Porte, Trail Creek, Long Beach, Pottawattamie Park,
Michiana Shores, Pinola, Waterford, Springville, Otis, and
Pottawattomie Park.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 38 and 49.
Interstate 94 in Indiana between mile markers 33 and 45.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
