.WHAT HAS CHANGED...
No significant changes.

&&

.KEY MESSAGES...
1) Heating up through mid week and then remaining above normal into
the weekend. Dry until the next chance of storms comes at the end of
the week.

&&

.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1)

Extremely strong (600 dm) mid level high over the northern Plains
will sprawl into the Great Lakes and then get suppressed a bit
southwards into the Ohio Valley as troughing develops over eastern
Canada. Outside of a small chance of a shower or storm in northeast
Kentucky today, this will bring an extended period of dry weather
with warming temperatures. Wednesday is still forecast to be the
warmest day of the week and latest guidance has nudged heat indices
to near 100.

As the Canadian trough digs into the northeast US, the high will get
suppressed further south and west later in the week. So maximum
temperatures will trend downward, but only slightly. Highs will still
be in the 90s Thursday and Friday. Heading towards the weekend, there
is increasing spread on how energy may dig down the back side of the
trough, so uncertainty rises. A chance of storms should return,
although how that comes about is unclear. Cannot rule out some
convection on Friday, but Saturday has the better chance for the next
rainfall in the region.

&&

.AVIATION /06Z MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY/...
Few high based cumulus remain about the area and may only diminish
towards 12Z. Northeast winds will persist enough to minimize fog
potential, although the chance of visibility restrictions is still
relatively high at KLUK, a little less so at KILN. With heating, few
to scattered cumulus will redevelop, then dissipate before 00Z.
Winds will remain northeast at 10 kt or less and then weaken and veer
to more easterly at the end of the period.

OUTLOOK...No significant weather expected.

.ILN WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES...
