At 433 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 15 nm east of Lake Borgne to 6 nm southwest of
Yscloskey, moving southeast at 20 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
A cluster of severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open
waters.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
