...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
6 PM CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Warning, significant coastal
  flooding. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal
  flooding expected.

* WHERE...In Louisiana, St. John The Baptist, Lower St. Bernard,
  Southeast St. Tammany, Eastern Orleans, Southwestern St.
  Tammany, Lower Tangipahoa, Southern Livingston and Eastern
  Ascension Parishes. In Mississippi, Southern Hancock County.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Warning, until 4 PM CDT this
  afternoon. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 4 PM this
  afternoon to 6 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property
  including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure
  will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels during the high tide cycle the
  afternoon are expected to be similar to those observed Wednesday
  afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

  Western Orleans and Upper Jefferson Parishes. In Mississippi,
  Southern Harrison and Southern Jackson Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
  isolated road closures expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
