Sfc high pressure is over the Great Lakes and Upper Mississippi
Valley. An extensive low level cu field has developed across the
area today with northerly and northeasterly winds at the sfc. Highs
today are slightly cooler in the mid to upper 80s. Tonight we might
see some patchy, light fog develop, particularly around Cape
Girardeau. Drier conditions and near normal temperatures continue
through the weekend.
An upper level trof moves over the Great Lakes by Saturday
afternoon. This brings a dry cold front through the area late
Saturday night into Sunday. This will usher in below normal
temperatures for next week. Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower
80s with overnight lows in the 50s!

An extensive low level cu field is present on satellite with
most sites seeing broken cloud cover hovering just above MVFR.
Skies will clear out overnight and some light patchy fog may
develop, particularly at KCGI. Tomorrow will look to be a repeat
of today. Winds are steady out of the north, then light
overnight then steady again out of the north tomorrow.
