At 520 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Robert, or 9 miles northeast of Hammond. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hammond, Independence, and Robert.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 12 between mile markers 46 and 48.
 Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 44 and 45.
