...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT THIS
EVENING FOR EAST CENTRAL HARRISON AND SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON OH
COUNTIES...
At 417 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers producing heavy rain
across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen
with up to 1 inch of additional rain possible in the warned area.
Flooding was reported along Unionvale Kenwood Road in Harrison
County as flash flooding is ongoing.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Cadiz and Hopedale.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
