STODDARD COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM CDT...
At 636 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bell City, or 8 miles southeast of Advance, moving northeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Oran, Benton, Morley, Bell City, Hay-Wood City, Vanduser, Blodgett,
and Lambert.
This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 74 and 82.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
