...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN KOSCIUSKO COUNTY...

At 306 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Syracuse, 
moving east at 20 mph. Additional severe thunderstorms were located 
near Leesburg, moving to the east northeast. 

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Syracuse, Milford, North Webster, Lake Wawasee, Dewart Lake, James
Lake, Oakwood Park, and Tippecanoe Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Northern Indiana.

If on or near a lake, get away from the water and move indoors or 
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles 
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close 
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not 
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
