At 426 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Poplarville, moving northwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bogalusa, Poplarville, Varnado, Crossroads, and Angie.
This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 17
and 21, and between mile markers 24 and 39.
