Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Wilmington OH
337 PM EDT Sat Jun 21 2025

.SYNOPSIS...
Hot and humid conditions will occur through midweek.

&&

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM SUNDAY MORNING/...
Cumulus will dissipate with the loss of heating. Light southerly
winds will persist through the night. Lows will be in the upper 60s
to mid 70s.

&&

.SHORT TERM /6 AM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT/...
Mid level high will extend across the area through the period with
the surface high remaining centered to the southeast. Expect diurnal
cumulus once again with temperatures a bit warmer than today.

&&

.LONG TERM /MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
Above normal temperatures are expected through the long term with
high temperatures in the 90s for many of the days.   For Monday and
Tuesday any convection is expected to be isolated and therefore
there is a greater likelihood of reaching heat advisory criteria.
Due to this keep current headlines in place for this time.

After Tuesday, continued hot conditions are expected, however there
are more thunderstorm chances and therefore confidence in reaching
heat advisory criteria is not as high.  Due to this left any
additional mention of heat for Wednesday on out of the HWO at this
time.  At this time it is too early to determine if there is a
specific time where severe weather will occur, however cannot rule
out at least an isolated severe weather risk with the storms later
in the week.  Due to uncertainty in exact timing and location
decided to leave any severe mention out of the HWO at this time.

Main change to the NBM for this forecast time period was to increase
cloud cover with precipitation chances.

&&

.AVIATION /19Z SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/...
Few to scattered cumulus will dissipate with the loss of heating.
Expect some local visibility restrictions at KLUK once again
overnight. Cumulus will redevelop on Sunday.

OUTLOOK...No significant weather expected.

&&
