At 219 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Vanceburg,
moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
vegetation.
Locations impacted include...
Portsmouth, New Boston, Vanceburg, Rosemount, Rome, Lombardsville,
Sandy Springs, Saint Paul, Firebrick, Carrs, West Portsmouth, Turkey
Creek Lake, Ribolt, Charters, Friendship, Mcdermott, Garrison, Glen
Springs, and Herron Hill.
