* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North central Clinton County in south central Kentucky...
  Southern Green County in central Kentucky...
  Russell County in south central Kentucky...
  Southeastern Hart County in central Kentucky...
  Northeastern Cumberland County in south central Kentucky...
  Southeastern Casey County in central Kentucky...
  Adair County in south central Kentucky...
  Metcalfe County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 1230 AM EDT/1130 PM CDT/.

* At 1150 PM EDT/1050 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near
  Edmonton, moving east at 75 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR THE LAKE CUMBERLAND REGION.

  HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect 
           considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. 
           Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Columbia, Jamestown, Edmonton, Russell Springs, Pickett, Eli,
  Mintonville, Cundiff, Curtis, and Absher.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. This storm is producing widespread 
wind damage across southern Kentucky. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a 
sturdy structure and stay away from windows!

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT/200 AM CDT/ for
south central and central Kentucky.
