...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR EAST CENTRAL MARTIN...SOUTHEASTERN FLOYD AND PIKE COUNTIES...
At 1146 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Oppy to Mcandrews to Wheelwright, moving
southeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Pikeville, Elkhorn City and Toonerville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for southeastern
and northeastern Kentucky.
