...A POTENTIALLY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN
SPENCER COUNTY THROUGH 400 PM CDT...
At 343 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Santa Claus, or 16 miles northeast of Rockport, moving east at 65
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Dale, Santa Claus, and Grandview.
This includes Interstate 64 in Indiana between Mile Markers 55 and
60.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
