At 615 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Owenton, moving
northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
vegetation.
Locations impacted include...
Gratz, Owenton, Stewartsville, Glencoe, Elk Lake, Cherry Grove,
Williamstown, Interstate 71 at US Route 127, Long Ridge, Eagle Hill,
New Liberty, Napoleon, Squiresville, Twin Bridges, Keefer, Needmore,
Holbrook, Elmer Davis Lake, Lawrenceville, and Monterey.
This includes the following Interstates...
I-71 in Kentucky between mile markers 61 and 65.
I-75 in Kentucky between mile markers 149 and 156.
