...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kentucky...

  Elkhorn Creek Near Peaks Mill affecting Franklin County.

.Recent heavy rain has caused the river to rise.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Elkhorn Creek near Peaks Mill.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Stillhouse Hollow Road floods.
  At 11.0 feet, Schoolhouse Road floods.
  At 12.0 feet, North Scruggs Lane floods near Elkhorn Campground.
  At 13.0 feet, Switzer (County 1689) and Indian Gap Roads flood.
  Goshen Road floods at back entrance to Two Creeks subdivision.
  At 14.0 feet, Jones Lane floods. Water approaches Georgetown Road
  (US 460).

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM EST Sunday the stage was 12.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM EST Sunday was 12.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 4.4 feet Friday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.5 feet on 05/20/2020.
