...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The following county, in south central Ohio, Pike.
* WHEN...Until 300 PM EST.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 223 PM EST, local law enforcement reported continued
flooding near Chenoweth Fork Road near State Route 32, State
Route 124 at the SR 772 intersection, and Bobo Road near
Germany Road, as well as Scheuster Road near Happy Hollow.
Flooding impacts will continue for several hours, but no
additional rainfall is expected.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Waverly, Piketon, Beaver, Wakefield, Idaho, Elm Grove,
Givens, Ladd, Germany, Stockdale and Poplar Grove.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
