This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Light snow accumulations are possible today, mainly during the
morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
A significant winter storm looks increasingly likely Sunday into
Monday, with multiple wintry precipitation types expected for most,
if not all, of the area. The greatest hazard for most places is
freezing rain on Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.
Very cold air will move into the region after the storm passes. This
may result in wind chills near or below zero by dawn on Thursday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected through Saturday night.
