...FLOOD ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The Flood Advisory is cancelled for a portion of southeast
Louisiana, including the following parish, St. John The Baptist.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1200 PM CST for portions of
southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi...

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following
  parish, St. Charles.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 621 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hahnville, Destrehan, New Sarpy, St. Rose, Norco, Ama, Luling
    and Taft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
