Missouri...
Current River near Doniphan affecting Ripley County.
...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Missouri...
Current River at Van Buren affecting Carter County.
.A flood wave continues to proceed down the Current River. The
river at Van Buren has already crested and is now beginning to
fall. Meanwhile, moderate flooding is still expected at Doniphan,
where the river is forecast to crest at 21 feet around midday
Thursday before falling below flood stage Friday afternoon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 5:30 PM CST Wednesday was 14.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.0
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage Friday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
