.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 100 PM CDT Wed Oct 2 2024
With high pressure shifting east tmrw, we'll eventually veer
around to some return flow southerlies and begin to warm up a
tad. We maintain our dry air mass with highs moving toward 80F
tmrw, and into the lower to middle 80s heading into/thru the
weekend. The Friday front is still washing out/not impactful
here, so we look to the Sunday night fropa for next wx chances.
The 00Z NBM threw in some isolated 20 pops, but the 12Z NBM has
backed that off to silent non-zero. We're definitely still a
pretty dry column, excepting a return to the 60s for dew points.
If we get anything, it'll be non-impactful insofar as pcpn is
concerned; WPC has zero qpf. The main impact will be a cool-off
back down in the 70s, even lower 70s, for the first half of the
work week, as cool high pressure ridges and holds from the
Great Lakes across the Ohio Valley.

.AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z THURSDAY/...
Issued at 100 PM CDT Wed Oct 2 2024
High pressure will provide a clear sky/light wind regime that
may be conducive for patchy pre dawn fog. Other than any
potential fog-related restrictions thereof, it's a dry, Visual
Flight Rules forecast.
