...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EDT THIS
EVENING FOR NORTHEASTERN LEWIS, NORTHEASTERN ADAMS, PIKE AND SCIOTO
COUNTIES...
At 746 PM EDT, emergency management reported flash flooding across
the warned area. Between 4 and 6.5 inches of rain have fallen. The
expected rainfall rate is 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Portsmouth, Waverly, Wheelersburg, New Boston, Piketon, Greenup,
South Webster, Lucasville, Clarktown, Rosemount, Sciotodale, Pike
Lake, Kincaid Springs, Franklin Furnace, Beaver, Rarden, Otway,
Wakefield, Bear Creek and Mcdermott.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
